St.Patrick's Is A Cool School

My New Baby Brother

The first glance at lights of my dad’s car as he entered the driveway. My head nodding as my face turned red and my mouth was turning in to a smile. I ran like bolt to the living room to alert my sister’s, brother’s,  my aunties and uncles that he has arrived. The newborn has came home.

It was about the 28th of September 2014 2 hours before my Dad arrived. The house was full with my family and extended family. There was a lot of people shouting, talking, playing and just sitting waiting for the arrival of my new baby brother.

My Uncle stood up and ordered everyone in the house to make there way to the park for a little lunch. Everyone rushed out like there was an earthquake. I look at every single person that hurried outside. I was worried that someone would get hurt but somehow no one did.

My Uncle shouted  again “Everyone start walking to the park the food is already set up”. I walked with nobody by my side. For some reason my family didn't even walk to the park. I looked around for them but they weren't around me. I felt lost until I got to the park because my family was already there. I thought that they would of been slow but I think when they heard food they ran.

I quickly sprinted to the park with no time to spare. Looking at the big pig on the first table I thought I was in Food Heaven. There was no one there that had an empty stomach after that big feast.

It about was six o’clock when we all came back to the house. Nobody had any energy left to even eat one more piece of the last pig. I watched everyone fall asleep. I was awake and surprisingly the only one awake.

It struck seven o’clock with everyone a sleep so I decided to take a walk but some caught my attention. There a light flashing in the distance. My head nodding as my face turned red and my mouth turned in to a smiled. I ran like bolt to the living room to alert my sister’s, brother’s,  my aunties and uncles that he has arrived.

I ran back outside again with alot of energy. My mum and dad hopped out of the car. I smiled so hard it felt like my mouth was going to come off with I saw the car seat my mum was holding and at that moment I knew the tenth baby boy of the Makalio family has come home.
