A New Year, New Starting

Kia Ora my name is Kolio. I am back and I'm in a new class, grown taller, and I'm a year older.
I'm a year 7 in Room 8 at Saint Patrick's School. I'm ready to learn, more confident and I have a positive  attitude. My new class mates are good role models for next year and college.

Euphraise Barbier

We are learning to talk about Eupharise-her values, attitudes, faith, and practices. The wordle is a creative expression of the writing that follows.

Euphrasie Barbier was born the 4th of January 1829 at Caen, France into a industrious lower class family. Euphraise began a new missionary institute known as the RNDM Mission Sisters during the year of 1848.

It was a family in with strong Catholic faith. When Euphrasie was young girl she appreciated her mother for her vibrant faith, and the importance of her family. The example of her father Louis, a shoemaker, taught Euphrasie the importance of a job well done and honestly completed. When she was a young adult the church in France was an extraordinarily a live and courageous church.

All through her life she had strong faith in God and had a humble, positive attitude. Even though Euphrasie had  hard but challenging times she kept her head up and pushed through those kind of times.  Her actions demonstrate her courage ,determination, and commitment and strong faith helped her through what she did.
